It was a pleasure capturing unforgettable moments at the Festo Ahmedabad centenerary celebration party at Club Babylon, Ahmedabad. What struck me was that everyone at Festo came across as amicable, and so friendly with each other. It was more like a family celebration than a corporate event. They all had a wonderful time and I was happy to click and keep on clicking for hours.

Festo, is a 100 years' old German automation company. Its Ahmedabad branch celebrated the centenary in style at Club Babylon, Ahmedabad, in the first week of September 2025. Here you can see the staff members joyfully participating in a garba dance, which was part of the festivities.

A celebration of women power on show at Shakti Awards organized by Dream Foundation NGO at AMA, Ahmedabad, on 5th April 2026. Dream Foundation works on empowering women to succeed and forge ahead in a male-dominated world. They recognize and award women who have made it good in life despite overwhelming odds and intense competition. This year's Shakti Awards 2026 held at AMA platformed several women who have made a mark in their respective professions, be it medicine, HR, public service, startups, or culture. Worth mentioning is the duo of Lucky and Happy Rabari that has attained fame with evocative folk songs. Worthy of mention is Pooja Vaidya, who heads a leading tech startup. Sonali Mohanty is at the pinnacle in her chosen HR field. Lipi Goyal made a name for herself as a stage announcer with more than 3000 stage appearances to her credit, and acting in films, besides providing life-skill coaching. Maya Joshi carved out a separate path with her online innovative platform that provides Panditjis on demand for religious ceremonies. These and innumerable other ladies are inspirational for youth of today and tomorrow. Niravbhai Shah is the man leading Dream Foundation to help women realize their dreams, attain recognition, and etch their names in history. Admire the guy and his team's efforts.
